Chapter Summary:
This chapter builds on the Keynote presentation by the authors at the 2021 Tobias Center workshop on Global Development Studies (GDS) Pedagogy. In this chapter, the authors situate GDS pedagogy in decolonial history and examine contemporary thinking on decolonizing in this field. The chapter draws on their own experiences, as well as the experiences of other decolonizing pedagogy practitioners, to highlight the possibility of a decolonized future in development studies teaching praxis.
