7 Marriage Ties

The marriage

bringing them closer
in a dark place
         of life, only having
         each other makes them
closer.

The partner was
In hiding
        The situation is horrible
        but they have each other
for comfort.

After the violence had
passed and a bright light showing
          the partner thought things
          would be better, but
he started drinking.

The marriage had seemed dead
              but the partner
              still stayed after
the storm.
