13 The Next Babe Ruth?

A one of a kind international superstar has entered major leagues in a way that had not been seen since the “Big Bambino”. Like Babe Ruth, Shohei Ohtani entered the MLB as both a pitcher and hitter. A player that plays at both positions at a high level had not been seen since Ruth entered the league. The excitement surrounding the arrival of Ohtani did not disappoint as the superstar pitcher/outfielder has compiled amazing numbers for both positions. Ohtani has hit with similar home run power as Babe Ruth, however, Shohei has blown away everyone associated with major league baseball both figuratively and literally. Ohtani throws pitches that surpass 100 miles per hour and strikes out batters on a regular basis. If Ohtani was to keep the trajectory that he is currently on in both positions there is a real arguement that Ohtani can be considered the greatest player of all time.
