11 Valid Historic Career?

Baseball’s popularity continued to grow as did the career of Barry Bonds, possibly the greatest player of all time. If Bonds numbers were nothing more than an analysis of a player’s career numbers he would undoubtedly be crowned as the greatest of all time. The San Francisco Giant outfielder broke the single-season home run record compiling 73 home runs while breaking the record for most intentional walks of all time. Bonds went on to end his career with a career home run record of 762 long balls. Post-1998 home run race the MLB began to crack down on players who were found to have used performance-enhancing drugs. Bonds was found to have used HGH on a random test that was administered as a result of the steroid usage by Sosa and Mcgwire. Barry Bonds is now seen as a pariah in the sport and has no chance of ever entering the Hall of Fame which he undoubtedly deserves on numbers alone.
