8 “Put Yourself Out There!” with Cam

What I wish I had known when I started the fall semester that I know now–the faculty here are here for a reason so feel free to contact them whenever you need.

Best advice for making friends or getting connected? It sounds so simple, but going out and attending events helps a ton. Getting involved for me looked like attending SALT (A Christian ministry) every Thursday on campus. Putting yourself out there is the absolute best way to make new friends.

My favorite spot on campus would be outside on the terrace of Goodbody dining hall. The sun is always shining, it is not super busy, and it is a lovely place to get homework done!

Wondering what to majoring in? Here’s my perspective–listen to Rachel, whatever she says and talks about, actually listen and put your all into this class. You will learn things about yourself you didn’t even think to know, and this class will be forever helpful in understanding where to go in your next walk of life.

Final words of cheer–college sounds scary; it’s not. You’re going to do so well!
