Surely I cannot be this foolish

You would think I would know better than to

Do my assignments so

Near to the deadline thus

Exhausting me the next day.

Yet

Surely this method has worked

And I have yet to suffer serious

Repercussions from recklessly

Veering so close to the deadline and

Enraging my current self for the temporary

Relief of my former self.
