Toolkit Navigation Quick Guide
Welcome to the Education for Liberation Equity Committee Toolkit. We are pleased to offer a wide range of resources to help your team create an equitable school environment in partnership with students, community, and families. This page is dedicated to providing a quick and easy overview of how you will navigate this toolkit.
Below you will find images and descriptions outlining how to use the multiple resources embedded throughout this eBook. Please take time to review and come back to this page if needed. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the Education for Liberation Equity team for more information.
Navigating the table of contents: After selecting “Read Book” on the main homepage, there is a “contents” section in the upper left-hand corner that will allow you to navigate each section of the toolkit.
Please note that in the bottom right-hand corner, there is a red bar that allows you to navigate between the “next” and “previous” sections as well.
Clicking the “+” sign in the content section will open a drop-down list that has all available sections listed. To minimize, click the “–” sign.
Throughout the toolkit, there are multiple images in each section that are linked to an external resource with a description located above each item. Please click the image(s) to access them. Please note that an additional tab will open on the internet browser displaying the article or document.

Embedded in the toolkit are downloadable documents that will open a file in Microsoft Word. They are accessible via the links and are identified with the phrase “Click to download”.
Throughout the toolkit are multiple videos. These files are embedded into the toolkit and will not open an external webpage when clicked. To view, please press the “play” button located in the middle of the screen.
The navigation of the toolkit was created to make this experience user friendly. Each section is designed to have a flow of content that is similar throughout. If there are any issues, please feel free to let the E4L team know so that we can make the appropriate changes.
