21 Humans Are Not Snacks
A day by the beach
Drinks, friends, and a shining sun
Sunscreen all over
The glistening blue water
Laughter from my friends around
Someone screams loudly
I witness a crying girl
Tears fall down her cheeks
My friends filled with confusion
What has happened to this girl?
Then I witness it
The large fin appearing near
My fears haunting me
I pray my eyes have fooled me
A shark nearby cannot be
A dolphin maybe?
People run from the water
The truth has scared me
The shark swims fast toward shore
Now it is my turn to scream
He looks so hungry
Mr. Shark we are not snacks
I pray no attack
Everyone is running free
What a wild day by the sea
