When our eyes met in our small-town bar

I knew in that moment it would be forever

Secretly I had always wished it would be him

The days and nights he would spend at my house

As if he was already a member of the family

My brother’s best friend

Not just something more,

But a soul consuming more

I loved him to the fullest a heart possibly could

I didn’t know if it would be forever in love

But no matter what, I knew forever was involved with him

Forever loving him or forever trying to forget him

Those words alone could make me feel things I didn’t know possible

The world became brighter, my smile became bigger, my heart became warmer
