IU Graduate School Indianapolis Overview
Introduction: IU Graduate School Indianapolis and Staff
IU Indianapolis (IU Indy) offers over 250 graduate degrees to students interested in pursuing a Ph.D., a professional degree, a master’s degree, or a graduate certificate. Several of these degrees are not offered by any other public institution in the state.
IU Indy confers both Indiana University Indianapolis and Purdue University graduate degrees.
A complete list of graduate and professional degrees offered at IU Indy can be found on the IU Graduate School Indianapolis Programs website. If you are interested in a dual degree, be sure to talk with your program director about the policies on credit sharing and dual degrees.
Students in accelerated programs (5-year bachelor’s to master’s) must meet specific policies to graduate with each degree, so contact your graduate program director early to discuss requirements. If you plan to enroll in a certificate and a master’s or doctoral degree, confirm the policies related to certificates within your school with your program director.
