Nuclear Medicine Program Awards

Awards presented at graduation:

  • Academic Excellence: given to the student who maintains at least a 3.75 grade average on a 4.00 scale for all didactic courses (the highest didactic GPA during the two years).
  • Clinical Excellence: given to the student who maintains at least a 3.75 grade average on a 4.00 scale for all clinical courses (the highest clinical GPA during the two years).
  • Kosegi Excellence Award: named after the former program director who lead the program for 36 years. This award is given to the student who maintains the highest program GPA during the two years (didactic and clinical combined).
  • Research Award: given to the student who demonstrates the highest performance in research. Awarded based on written report in journal style format and oral presentation skills (paper and abstract presentation grade combined).
  • Professional Development Award: given to the student who has done the most professional development while in the nuclear medicine program. (most points awared)
  • Perfect Attendance Award: given to the student who has perfect attendance (no sick days, no p-days, no tardies) in all 5 clinical experience courses while in the program.
