7 SECOND YEAR-CONNECT: Get Involved

Find your people, find your WHY!

A significant part of the college experience is taking advantage of the opportunities that clubs and student organizations have available on campus.  If you did not join any clubs your first year, consider doing so this year–or if you are already connected, look into additional ones!

BeInvolved is a list of organizations/events on campus to connect you! This not only allow you to become more connected with others on campus, it can also be a very helpful opportunity to learn more about future opportunities!

DID YOU KNOW?

There are more than 800 clubs and student organizations on campus!

Many student clubs have a career connection component where they do the heavy lifting for you! Often they will host professionals who come to campus to talk about their job, company and opportunities for internships or advise on how to build experience.  This can help you begin to create your professional network as well as learn more about particular career pathways. Your career coach can help you identify which ones you might want to explore and how to get connected!

The Neurodiversity Coalition at IU is a group of Indiana University students, staff, faculty and community members who support initiatives to make our campus (Bloomington) more inclusive of the rights and needs of IU students with neurodiverse brain function.
