Creating learning spaces to help students explore and discover their potential is a tradition at IU Kokomo. Whether it’s our state-of-the-art food and nutrition lab, a nursing simulation center that gives the next-best experience to a hospital, our fitness center where you can work out with friends, or the observatory to see the stars and planets up close, you will have the hands-on experiences to prepare you for your future.

The Student Activities and Events Center opened in fall 2020. Not only can students go cheer on their favorite teams there, but they’ll also participate in research presentations and job fairs, and attend concerts and presentations by speakers.

The greenhouse, built in 2020, provides space for teaching and research in genetics, ecology, and sustainability year round, and may also be used to grow food for the campus food pantry, or for nutrition or hospitality and tourism classes to use.
