9 Learning environments: the other players

The Unizin learning environment has grown quite a bit over the years — even now you may be using some services without knowing they’ve contracted with the consortium! Try the quiz below to see if you can guess them all.

 

 

If you’re wondering “so what?”: having a shared learning environment helps us share and collaborate among our peers. To put it another way:

 

We sometimes use the comparison of Unizin to establishing “common gauge rails” that enabled trains to go farther than when each train company had differing gauge rails. As a common infrastructure service, Unizin will make it easier for faculty to work together across institutions when they choose to do so. Common digital learning infrastructure does not differentiate the value of our institutions — it enhances what each of us can do innovatively with it.
