You’ve chosen to write an open text — you believe your content should be widely shareable and free to your students, and you have a good sense what content the text needs to cover. You have an idea how you might tackle building a new text yourself or with your colleagues, but you’re also intrigued by the idea of assigning your students to help build the class text as part of an assignment. You’ve skimmed a couple of successful case studies, many of which used Pressbooks to edit and deliver the content, so you think including your students in the writing process would be very doable — and valuable!
