Stop #4: The Education and Arts Building

The Education and Arts Building was completed in April 2013 and has been awarded LEED Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

It is now home to School of Education, the Raclin School of the Arts, and a Dental Hygiene Clinic that prepares students while serving the community. You can also find classrooms, art studios, rehearsal rooms, group study areas, a 126-seat auditorium, the IT support center, and an art gallery that showcases faculty and student art, as well as traveling exhibits. The gallery is open to the public (when permitted) from 12 – 5 PM, Monday through Saturday during exhibitions. This is the one building on campus where you can study all night as long as you are there before 10 PM!

The Dental Hygiene Clinic is open to the public when permitted, and provides preventive dental services from September until June.  All services are provided by upperclassmen completing the dental hygiene program who are overseen by licensed dentists and registered dental hygienists.

Stop #5, the Schurz Library, will be your next building to your left!
