Welcome to IU South Bend!
We are so happy to have you on our campus today!
Nestled on 104 acres on the banks of the beautiful St. Joseph river, Indiana University South Bend is the third largest IU campus, enrolling more than 4300 students each year from around the region and the globe. Indiana University first began offering classes in South Bend in 1916, and our present campus was established in 1961. With more than 100 different undergraduate majors and 15 graduate programs, there is something here for everyone. Our student to faculty ratio of 14:1 means that we’re a close-knit community, but with all of the resources and support of a world-class IU education. Let’s get started, and don’t forget, Go Titans!
