30 Electronic Device Policy

Students may not bring personal computers of any type to the clinic.  Cell phones, smartwatches, and any other types of smart electronic devices are not allowed in clinic.

If these devices are brought into the hospital or clinic, they must be stored with the student’s personal possessions which may or may not be secure.  These devices can be used during lunch breaks.

Hospital computers may be used for Evalue entry only.  Hospital computers are not for doing coursework in Canvas, checking emails, sending emails, playing games, or web surfing.

Penalties for noncompliance are at the discretion of the Clinical Preceptor and/or Clinical Coordinator. Please see the Clinical Requirements Checklist for penalties associated with program policy violations.
