36 Inclement Weather Policy

When weather conditions are such that IUPUI campus is closed, all Radiologic Sciences classes and clinical assignments will be canceled. Weather notifications will be sent via the University Emergency Notification System, the News Bureau, radio, and TV stations in the Indianapolis metropolitan area.  The IUPUI website will also announce updates on the status of closures and cancellations by 7:00 a.m. if possible.

As long as the campus remains open, students are expected to attend clinical rotations as planned. If classes are canceled or moved to a virtual format, students must check their emails for any messages from their course professors for further instruction.  It is likely that classes will be held via video and/or other e-learning activities.

Note:  In the event that IUPUI does not cancel classes and if a student feels road conditions are too bad to drive, or the roads have been shut down by their county, they must use personal time and use the Time Tracking section of Evalue to report the absence.
